You can output your movie to Compressor and save it in any format: 4K, HD, DVD, YouTube, etc. Unfortunately, Final Cut Pro doesn’t have all the different video formats for you to output your movie in. There is a preview menu where you can see your clips and your movie as you put it together. Then, you can set the in-point and out-point for the video and this is where it could get confusing for beginners: You don’t need a special menu command all you have to do is press “I” for in and “O” for out.
Organizing your clips before putting them on the timeline for the movie is simple.
When first using Final Cut Pro, you will be confused because you don’t expect video editing software to be so simple. Actually, Final Cut Pro X is what professionals use the most, but it doesn’t mean ordinary people can’t use it. People are often scared when they hear the software title being mentioned they think it’s only for professionals. IMovie is fine for people who are technologically lazy, but every person who owns a Mac should have Final Cut Pro.
